VJ6 – Cabinet with slide-out shelf Optokon Premium

The VJ6 housing represents a compact, cost-effective solution for fiber optic cable termination. The VJ6 series is ideally suited for rack mounting in tight spaces such as equipment enclosures, where rack space is limited. The housing is delivered unpopulated. The pull-out shelf allows easy access to the splice area for reconfiguring the optical network during operation and prevents damage to the fibers before they are routed into the adapters. Up to 4 splice cassettes can be placed on the tray. The maximum fiber capacity depends on the number of optical adapters (24 or 48 fibers). The VJ6 housing is made from aluminum alloy 5754, which offers excellent corrosion resistance and very high strength.
