The MCNR/MCNL series is a cost-effective splice and termination cabinet that can be mounted in a 19-inch rack, featuring a reduced depth for splicing manufactured pigtails, pre-terminated cables, and field-installable connectors. The MCNR/MCNL includes a front panel with angled mounting adapters (for all standard adapter types, such as SC, DLC, E2000, FC, etc.). Cables are strain-relieved at the rear of the unit. MCNR – Right side / MCNL – Left side The swivel shelf can be equipped with either a splice tray holder or a bend radius protection device that guides, stores, and organizes excess fiber. This prevents damage to the fibers before they are placed into the couplings. The MCNR is used in installations with limited space.
