Description

QSFP28 Transceivers – 100Gbps ER4 Optokon Premium

  The OPTOKON 100G QSFP28 ER4 optical transceivers are designed for high-speed communication applications requiring speeds starting from 103.125 Gbit/s. The transmitter converts 4 input channels of 25.78 Gbit/s electrical data into 4 optical signals with center wavelengths of 1296 nm, 1300 nm, 1305 nm, and 1309 nm, multiplexing them over a standard LC connector into a single channel. On the receiver side, the four lanes of optical data streams are optically demultiplexed by the integrated optical demultiplexer. Each data stream is restored and retimed by a PIN photodetector and a transimpedance amplifier. This module features a hot-pluggable electrical interface, low power consumption, and an MDIO management interface. The product is designed with form factor, optical/electrical connection, and digital diagnostic interface in accordance with the QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) and complies with IEEE 802.3ba and IEEE 802.3bm standards.
