The fiber optic end face inspector is designed for examining ferrule end faces with outstanding performance and user-friendly operation. It magnifies the object by 260 to 400 times, making it easier to assess the condition of the fiber optic end face. Its compact size makes it an ideal tool for inspecting connector end faces before and during the installation of fiber optic networks. Various adapter types can be used for testing male and female fiber optic connectors such as FC, SC, ST, and LC. The OPTOKON FOI-400W microscope can connect via USB and Wi-Fi to PCs and smartphones/tablets, compatible with both Android and Apple operating systems. The software allows for the storage of tested connectors for later evaluations and reporting, as well as PASS/FAIL analyses in accordance with the IEC 61300-3-35 standard. The OPTOKON FOI-400W microscope operates for 4 hours on a rechargeable 3.7V lithium polymer battery.
