The OPTOKON OSC-700 is an automatic fusion splicer designed for SM, MM, DS, NZ-DS (G655), EDF, and other types of fibers. The OSC-700 is capable of ensuring high-quality splices even under the most adverse environmental conditions. The OSC-700 splicing devices are suitable for aligning either the core or the cladding. In both methods, the two stripped fibers are automatically aligned by the fusion splicer in the X and Y planes and then fused together. The stripped fiber area is protected either by a coating or a splice protection sleeve.
