  The LMC series presents the media converter in a robust metal housing. It features Expanded Beam connectors for fiber optic cables and copper twisted-pair ports, designed for harsh environmental conditions. The sturdy LMC design extends the use of Ethernet in challenging environments such as heavy industry, petrochemicals, mining, broadcasting, and other field applications. It meets the requirements for mobility, easy installation, and the mechanical resilience necessary for field use. The LMC converters give you the freedom to extend your 10/100/1000 Mbps cabling distance, enabling connectivity of up to 2 km over MM fibers and up to 50 km when using SM fibers. LED indicators display the power status of the converter, the LAN connection, and fiber optic activity. The basic configuration LMC-01.GF includes the media converter in a robust housing. The optical and electrical connection converters are completed at separate ports: HMA type for fiber optic and robust RJ-45 for the copper LAN interface. Power is supplied via a rugged 3-pin connector and/or PoE (PD – powered device) over a LAN cable.
