Optokon LMC-01.BF Fast Ethernet Media Converter Ruggedized type
The LMC series presents the media converter in a robust metal housing. It features expanded beam connections for fiber optic cables and copper twisted pair ports, designed for harsh environmental conditions. The sturdy LMC design enhances the use of Ethernet in tough environments, including heavy industry, petrochemicals, mining, broadcasting, and other field applications. It meets mobility requirements, ensures easy installation, and provides the mechanical durability necessary for field deployment. The LMC converters give you the freedom to extend your 10/100/1000 Mbps cabling distance, allowing connectivity of up to 2 km over MM fiber and up to 50 km when using SM fiber. LED indicators display the converter’s power status, LAN connection, and fiber optic activity. The base configuration LMC-01.BF includes the media converter housed in a robust enclosure. Data transmission and power supply are provided through separate rugged connectors, and copper cables can be ordered as accessories.
