The transmitter converts 4 input channels of 25.78 Gbit\/s electrical data into 4 optical signals with center wavelengths of 1296 nm, 1300 nm, 1305 nm, and 1309 nm, multiplexing them over a standard LC connector into a single channel. On the receiver side, the four lanes of optical data streams are optically demultiplexed by the integrated optical demultiplexer. Each data stream is restored and retimed by a PIN photodetector and a transimpedance amplifier. This module features a hot-pluggable electrical interface, low power consumption, and an MDIO management interface.
